MATTAWAMKEAG, Maine — A Bangor Hydro-Electric Co. crew is working to find and fix a downed electrical line that interrupted electricity to 975 customers on Friday, a company spokesman said.
The interruption affected customers in Lee, Lincoln, Mattawamkeag and Winn. It was reported at about 4 p.m., company spokesman Bob Potts said.
The cause is undetermined, Potts said. High and steady winds had been buffeting the area for more than an hour. Electricity should be restored by 9 p.m., he said.
