BANGOR – Thaddeus W. Swank, 61, died April 25, 2013, at a Bangor health care facility after a long illness. He was born April 21, 1952, in Baltimore, the son of Thaddeus W. and Marie (Garner) Swank.
Thaddeus was employed as a Maine State Trooper for a number of years. He then decided to pursue his interest in law and attended Vermont Law School. After graduation he worked as a legal consultant for several companies including the American Ophthalmological Association.
Surviving is his wife, Ellen King of Marlboro, Mass.; four children, Sarah Condon of Worcester, Mass., Katy Swank of Washington, D.C., Ruth Bayless of Bangor and Benjamin Swank of Provo, Utah; grandchildren, Alex, Troy and Ali Condon, Alibek and Nursulu Duncan and Tala, Walker and Frances Bayless; and brother, Jim Swank of Germany.
