PRESQUE ISLE – Dana J. Willette, 79, passed away Saturday night, April 27, 2013, at The Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle. He was born Aug. 30, 1933, in Presque Isle, son of Wallace and Aline (Dube) Willette.
Dana served in the U.S. Navy. He worked many years at various places as an electrician, Goan’s Electric, Sears in Presque Isle, and Agway Inc., Bangor. Dana loved playing cards and bowling. He was member of Presque Isle Elks Club and American Legion.
He is survived by his former wife, Darlyne Giggey of Glenburn; two sons, Adam Willette and wife, Robin, of Jonesport and Matthew Willette and special friend, Lisa Drake, of Bangor; three brothers, Carroll Willette and wife, Sharon, of Mapleton, Gerald Willette and special friend, Pam Ouellette, of Presque Isle and Gary Willette and wife, Marilyn, of Presque Isle; two sisters, Rita Lannigan of Presque Isle and Barbara Ouellette and husband, Raynold, of Munising, Mich; and six grandchildren, Ashley, Jennifer, Jerrica, Reed, Ryan and Madison. Dana was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Wallace, James and Percy; and brother-in-law, Lowell Lannigan.
Friends may call 2-3 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Emile Dube officiating.
