BRUNSWICK, Maine — Bowdoin College junior Cindy Cammarn progressed to the semi-final round of the “Jeopardy! College Championship” with a strong showing Thursday night.

Competing against students from Stanford and Azusa Pacific universities, Cammarn, 21, never trailed after taking the lead midway through the first round. She finished with a one-night total of $12,700 — despite missing the Final Jeopardy question and two questions relating to Maine and Bowdoin College alumnus Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

It’s not yet known when Cammarn next will appear on the game show.
