BANGOR – Dorene “Dory” Lilla (Skidgel) Schmidt went to be with our Lord, May 15, 2013.
Dory leaves behind seven children, Ralph Schmidt, Kathleen Haight and husband, Christopher, Linda Schadler, Gretchen Cosgrove and husband, Dennis, Gail Schmidt, Susan Conklin and husband, Steven, and Stephen Schmidt; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, Herbert and Claude Skidgel; sister, Ethel Ann Plante; and will be missed by her cat, Bowser. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Victor Garcia; and daughter-in-law, Nora Schmidt.
Family and friends may visit 11-2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor, where a service honoring her life will be held 2 p.m. as the visitation concludes.
