HAMPDEN — Matt Palmer drew a two-out bases-loaded walk on a 3-2 count in the bottom of the seventh to drive in Matt Martin with the inning’s third run and give Hampden a 6-5 American Legion baseball victory over Brewer Friday night.
Justin Kasprzak paced the winners with a two-run double while Andrew Giosia and Spencer Hartsgrove each added two singles, with Giosia driving in a run.
Logan Rogerson singled twice and scored two runs for Brewer. Jeff Weeks and Nick Moore each added an RBI single.

At Millinocket, Trevor DeLaite struck out 10 batters in six innings to help Bangor prevail.
Carl Farnham paced Bangor with a triple, double, two singles and an RBI. Justin Courtney chipped in with two singles and two RBI and DeLaite singled twice. Sam Houston added a sacrifice fly.
Jake Drew tripled and drove in two runs for the Northern Lumber and Dustin Sawtelle doubled.
