HOWLAND and PERTH, N.Y. – Alvin “Peter” F. Cook, 75, died June 22, 2013. He was born Aug. 23, 1937, in Perth, N.Y., the only son of Margaret Cook Gronosky.
He lived in Gloversville, N.Y., and served in the U.S. Air Force. Many knew Al as the front man at Wiz Tattoo and founder of the Down East Tattoo Show, his labor of love. He was a member of the medieval group, Society for Creative Anachronism, where he was known as Lord Peter Pedrick.
He leaves behind his best friend, Ed DuMont; and stepsister, Peggy Cropanese.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, at St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor.
