FORT KENT – Eric Valcourt, 31, died unexpectedly June 24, 2013, at Northern Maine Medical Center. He was born Sept. 3, 1981, in Fort Kent, son of Pierre and Maxine (Morneault) Valcourt of Eagle Lake.
Eric adored spending time with his family, especially his wife and children. He enjoyed fishing, and always helping out with others. Eric was a loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and nephew. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tonia (Theriault) Valcourt; son, Bryce; daughter, Kayleigh all of New Canada; brother, Ben Valcourt and fiancée, Danielle, of Eagle Lake; and sister, Christina and husband, Michael Delena, of Eagle Lake. In addition to his parents he is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tony and Carol Theriault; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Billy and Stacey Theriault, all of Fort Kent; eight nieces and nephews, Lily, Hana, Christian, Abriana, Ethan, Britany, Brandon and Bennet; cousins, Jennifer and her children, Landen and Noah, Bobbie Jo and her children, Jasmin, Kamren, Reyce and Gavin, and Joni and her children, Kaleb, Hayden, Krista and Dawson; and many aunts, uncles and friends. He will be dearly missed. Eric was predeceased by his grandparents, Camille and Joan (Dube) Morneault and Benoit and Marie Jeanne (Morin) Valcourt.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, and 9-10:15 a.m. Friday, June 28, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Mary’s Catholic, Eagle Lake. Committal Services will be after at the parish cemetery.
