HARRINGTON, Maine — Short power interruptions have been scheduled for two communities in Washington County this week so maintenance work can be performed on the electrical system, according to Bangor Hydro-Electric Co.
Power is expected to be out for only about 5 minutes beginning at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, in Harrington. Areas to be affected are the intersection of Route 1 and Marshville Road, including all side roads off Marshville Road.
Electricity also is expected to be shut down for about 5 minutes beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 5, in Perry, according to Bangor Hydro. Areas to be affected are Pottle Road, Devereux Road, Shore Road, Thunder Road, South Meadow Road, Mahars Lane, Route 1 from Mahars Lane to Shore Road, The New Friendly Restaurant and Route 190 from the intersection of Route 1 to Cuspus Road.
