VAN BUREN – Jeanne M. Gagnon, 69, died unexpectedly July 9, 2013, at a Caribou hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1943, in Madawaska, daughter of Donat and Egline (Bouchard) Pelletier.
Jeanne is survived by foster son, Yvon Desjardins of Rochester, N.H.; four brothers, Gilbert Pelletier of Connecticut, Clifford Pelletier of Long Lake, Paul Emile Pelletier of Madawaska and Joe Pelletier of Frenchville; and four sisters, Gilmay Theriault of Madawaska, Jeannette Monroe of Lewiston, Marie Mae Chamberland and Joan Ouellette, both of St. Agatha. She was predeceased by her husband, Nelson J. Gagnon, July 28, 2012; brother, Alby Pelletier; and sister, Germaine Cyr.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, July 15, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be at the parish cemetery.
