OLD TOWN, Maine — Driver inexperience was a factor in an accident on Poplar Street Friday in which a teenage boy rolled a vehicle, police said.
The teen, whose name and age weren’t available, lost control shortly after noon, according to Old Town police Detective James Slauenwhite.
Slauenwhite said the driver failed to handle a corner on the road, causing him to lose control of the Toyota Camry.
The boy was wearing a seat belt, which Slauenwhite said prevented more serious injuries.
The driver did not require a trip to the hospital.
