CASCO, Maine — A truck hauling Poland Spring water rolled over on Route 11 in Cumberland County on Monday morning, according to police.

Mark Ormsby, 55, of Westbrook apparently fell asleep at the wheel around 7:15 a.m. when he lost control, according to Capt. Shawn O’Leary of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department.

Ormsby was not seriously injured, according to O’Leary, but Route 11 is currently closed as crews continue to clean up the scene.

A Maine State Police commercial unit is investigating the crash while a Department of Environmental Protection team cleaned up the diesel fuel from the truck, the captain said.

O’Leary said Ormsby will not face charges from his agency in connection with the crash, but its unclear if state police will consider pressing charges.
