INMAN, S.C. – Mary Robb Thomson Bauss, 90, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital, Spartanburg, S.C. Born March 25, 1923, in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Donald Duncan and Margaret Ross Thomson, and wife, for 66 years, of Elliott Bradford Bauss.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mrs. Bauss was a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, a member of Eastern Star, and was retired from Middlesex Memorial Hospital, Middletown, Conn., as a medical secretary.
Survivors include her children, Carol L. Bauss of Belfast, and Bradford L. Bauss and Celia of Inman, S.C.; and grandchildren, Lindsay R. Bauss, Sarah E. Bauss and Megan L. Bauss, all of Inman, S.C. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by brother, Donald Thomson.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 4180 HWY 9, Boiling Springs, S.C., by the Rev. Roy Cole.
