WINSLOW, Maine — Police are searching for two armed suspects who held up a Winslow bank on Friday morning, according to state police.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said the two suspects entered the Bangor Savings Bank on China Avenue shortly after 11 a.m. and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

One suspect was wearing a tan jumpsuit and had a tan backpack, according to McCausland. A description of his accomplice wasn’t immediately available.

Winslow police, state police and a number of K9 units remained at the scene Friday afternoon, according to McCausland.

No other details were immediately available.
