ORONO, Maine — Police are looking to identify a suspect who allegedly stole a person’s wallet.

Orono police Capt. Josh Ewing said his department fielded the report on Friday after the wallet’s owner was alerted by a credit card company of various transactions.

The female suspect allegedly used the card at several locations around Bangor, according to Ewing.

The woman was captured on video surveillance wearing black-rimmed glasses, while she also had an infant car seat with her with a pink blanket over the baby, the police captain said.

The suspect is described as in her mid-20s to early-30s, between 5’5 and 5’7 with light brown or dirty blonde hair.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity should call Orono police at 866-4000, and anonymous tips can be submitted at police.orono.org/crimewatch.
