CORINNA and ORONO – Robert Frank Anderson, 91, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at Dirigo Pines in Orono. He was born May 10, 1922, in Waterville, the son of Hiram and Marguerite (Fuller) Anderson. Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1942-1945 in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was the owner and operator of the Corinna Insurance Agency and the Newport Insurance Agency until his retirement.
In addition to his wife of 64 years, Katheryn Reny Anderson, he is survived by a daughter, Alicia and her husband, Dana Freese, of Newport; grandsons, Robert Freese and his wife, Jennifer, of Brewer, and Michael Freese of St. Petersburg, Russia; and a very special great-grandson, Kayden Freese of Brewer.
Private services and burial will be at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Augusta. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
