ORONO – Anita Louise (McGinn) Cox died Saturday morning, Aug. 10, 2013, at a local health care facility after a short illness. She was born July 19, 1941, in Orono, daughter of Thomas and Eugenia (Heald) McGinn.
She attended schools in Orono, married Charles A. Cox in 1960 and moved to Milford, where they raised three children, Karen (Cox) Dresser, Anthony McGinn and Robert Cox.
She is survived by her children and her two favorite (and only) granddaughters, Laura Clark and Amy (Clark) Perez. She was predeceased by Charles, her husband of 52 years; her parents; and all her siblings.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Holy Family Parish, Old Town.
