BANGOR – Dena Geneva (Harris) Ventucci, 81, passed away Aug. 25, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 16, 1932, in Orrington, the daughter of Raymond M. and Lucie M. (Bowley) Harris.
Dena graduated from Higgins Classical Institute, Charleston, class of 1952. She was employed at EMMC in Bangor, working in the laundry for many years. She was an avid Red Sox fan enjoying the games on TV.
Dena is survived by her husband, Allen Ventucci of Bangor; two sisters, Virginia Rich of Bangor and Donna Pluard of New Hampshire; one brother, Dick Harris and his wife, Shirley, of Charleston; she was Aunt Dena to many nieces and nephews; and Peggy Kimball of Los Angeles and Lori Kimball of Bangor, were special to her.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Relatives and friends are invited to meet 12:45 p.m. Friday, at the Superintendants Lodge, State Street Entrance, Bangor.
