BREWER – Nancy Christie LaCasse died unexpectedly Aug. 15, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1948, the daughter of Arthur W. and Ruth E. Christie. She grew up in the Medford/Howland area, moving to the Bangor area after high school.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mark S. LaCasse; daughter, Destiny Cook and husband, Dan; sons, Shawn “Wes” Stover and wife, Carla, Jason Stover and partner, Cali Jones, and Adam LaCasse and partner, Sara McKay; 7 grandchildren, Seth and Jacob Cook, Madeliene and Charlotte Stover, Harley and Dylan Stover and Cassandra LaCasse; one sister, Elizabeth Bowdoin and husband, Brian; and many nieces and nephews.
Also surviving is her first husband, Eric Stover and wife, Teri, (thank you for being there for us).
Chris was a very gifted, talented, loving person who put her whole being into everything she did. She will be deeply Missed, Loved and Never Forgotten by her family and all who knew her.
Her family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff at EMMC Grant 1 CCU and Paladin Services for their care and compassion in our most difficult time. You all went above and beyond. Thank you.
