VAN BUREN – Anita M. Morin, 91, passed away Sept. 4, 2013, at a Caribou health care facility. She was born July 25, 1922, in Lille, the daughter of Randolph and Olive (Daigle) St. Jean.
She is survived by four daughters, Mandy Palmer and her husband, James, of West Gardiner, Yvette Martin and her husband, William, Rolande Wichrowski and her husband, Joseph, of Watertown, Conn., and Alice Simpson and her husband, Gerald, of East Windsor, Conn.; two sons, Gerard Morin and his wife, Jean, of Van Buren, and Philip Morin and his wife, Patty, of East Hartford, Conn.; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edwina Rossignol of East Hartford, Conn., Olida Masse of Avon, Conn., and Merilda Jambard and her husband, Leo, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; five brothers, Sylvio of East Hartford, Conn., Clarence of Brooklyn, Conn., Chanel of East Hartford, Conn., Rudy of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Alde also of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her dog, Mitzi. She was predeceased by her husband, Armand E. Morin in 1976; and three brothers, Roland, Conrad and Norman.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at St. Bruno/St. Remi Catholic Church.
