BANGOR – Marilyn Madge Kaehler passed away peacefully Sept. 1, 2013, at a Bangor hospital, with family at her side. She was born Oct. 20, 1938, in Glenburn, a daughter of Earl R. and Helen L. (Dow) Colford.
Marilyn enjoyed playing card games especially cribbage, yard sales and shopping at Goodwill.
Marilyn is survived by her two daughters, Laurie Gauthier and Heidi Spreng of Bangor; two sons, John Kaehler of Bangor and Kristofer Kaehler of Monrovia, Calif.; four brothers, Robert Colford of Warwick, R.I., Carroll Colford of Bangor, Lawrence Colford of Waynesville, N.C., and Ray Colford of Orrington; one sister, Theresa Kinney of Gastonia, N.C.; grandchildren, Michael, Corey, Jeremy, Jason, Earl, John Jr., and Brady; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a dear friend, Ann Snow. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Margaret; brother, Walter; and a special friend, Jeff Fortine.
A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Sept. 11, at Lakeview Cemetery, Glenburn.
