BANGOR, Maine — Kayla Hamel scored off an Alexis Wells assist with 2:05 remaining in regulation play on Wednesday, lifting the University of New England to a 1-0 women’s soccer victory over Husson University at Boucher Field.
Gina Iannazzi made 10 saves for the Nor’easters of Biddeford, who outshot the Eagles 18-12.
Jess Poulin made six saves for 1-4 Husson.

UNE 2, UM-Farmington 0
At Farmington, Kyle McGlone scored in the first half off the rebound of a Finn Ducker shot that hit a wall of defenders, giving the Nor’easters the victory.
Tyler Garnick converted an Anthony Frangione pass to tally the other goal for 3-0-1 University of New England of Biddeford. Aidan McPartland was forced to make only one save.
Derek Reilly also made only one saves for 1-1 UMaine-Farmington.
Field Hockey
Husson 2, Bates 1 (OT)
At Bangor, Liz Noddin scored off a Mariah Arno pass 10:53 into overtime, lifting the Eagles past the Bobcats.
Isobel Curtis had staked 1-2 Bates College of Lewiston to a 1-0 lead off a Bridget Meedzan assist in the first half, but Sabrina Vaillancourt equalized in the second half for 3-2 Husson.
Maicee Gustin and Kaitlin Dolloff combined for seven saves for the Eagles, while Becca Otley made 14 of the Bobcats’ 16 saves.

At Gorham, Natalie Harkins converted a Peyton Dostie pass in overtime, lifting the Huskies to victory.
Samantha Crosman and Jessica Boghasian each scored a goal for the University of Southern Maine (3-2), with Cristina Mountain and Rebecca Pratt providing assists. Kayla Kennedy made five saves.
Meghan Hughes and Kaitlyn Bullen netted a goal each for 0-1 UMaine-Farmington. Chelsey Morley and Kashley Weymouth added assists while Curran Brierley made 10 saves.
