She served as a deaconess, a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Sunshine Advent Christian Home and World Outreach, and was a faithful prayer warrior and great encourager to all. Janice was a long-standing member of the Washington Second Advent Christian Campmeeting Association in Washington, Maine, where she enjoyed attending services all her life.
Janice enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her two daughters, who both enjoyed having her travel with them on school trips when they were younger. All who knew her will never forget her delicious cooking.
Along with her parents, Janice was predeceased by her brothers, Harvey and Leonard Weeks. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donn; her daughters, Raegan Heanssler of Augusta, and Larissa Heanssler of Sunshine, Deer Isle; sister, Helene Dunbar of Winslow; and many cousins.
