STANDISH — Kyle Shangrow scored two unassisted first-half goals Wednesday to spark Saint Joseph’s College to a 3-0 men’s soccer victory over the University of Maine-Farmington.
Joe Murphy scored off a Nate Fox assist to account for the Monks’ other tally. Robert Petrosillo and Scott Benner combined to make two saves on two shots for Saint Joseph’s (6-2-1).
Derek Reilly made three saves on six shots for the 1-3-1 Beavers.
UNE 1, Lyndon State 0
At Lyndonville, Vt., Sean Goodrich scored in overtime for the lone tally of the match, giving the University of New England men’s soccer team a hard-fought decision over Lyndon State College.
Nate Diffin made seven saves to get the shutout for the Nor’easters of Biddeford (4-3-1).
Jason Marks was credited with 13 saves for the 0-6-1 Hornets.

St. Joseph’s 3, So. Maine 0
At Gorham, freshman Kelsey Dumond redirected a pass from senior back Carly Denis in the 11th minute to lead Saint Joseph’s College of Standish to a 3-0 win over the University of Southern Maine at Hannaford Field.
The Monks (6-0) also received goals from Amanda Celata and Rachelle Messuri, who also added an assist. Emma Astbury made five saves to earn the shutout.
The Huskies (3-6) received nine saves from Kayla Kennedy.
Women’s Soccer
Maine Maritime 1, Thomas 0
At Castine on Tuesday, Annie Koensgen broke nearly 102 minutes of scoreless play when she headed in a shot early in the second overtime to lifted Maine Maritime to victory.

Taylor O’Malley made five saves for the Mariners (2-4-2, 1-0-1 NAC) and Kate Thibodeau poasted five stops for Thomas College of Waterville (3-5, 1-1 NAC).
