FORT KENT and EAGLE LAKE – Patrick J. Roy, 96, died peacefully, Sept. 23, 2013, at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born May 8, 1917, in Frenchville, the son of Jerry and Mary (Michaud) Roy.
Patrick was a past member of the Eagle Lake Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda and her husband, Robert Miller, of Fort McCoy, Fla., and Darleen Allen of Cabot, Ark.; three grandchildren, Robin McCallum and her husband, Gary, Robert Miller and his wife, Donnie, and Sherry Rothermel and her husband, Robert; and five great-grandchildren, Garrett McCallum and his wife, Tabitha, Jessica McCallum, Bobby Miller, Bryar Miller, and Chandler Rothermel. He was predeceased by his first wife, Grace (Neveu) Roy; and his second wife, Eva (Boucher) Roy.
Friends may call 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake.
