FALMOUTH, Maine — State police say one person has died in a crash at mile marker 51 southbound in Falmouth on the Maine Turnpike, Portland’s WGME 13 reports.
The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. Sunday. Traffic was blocked in both directions for nearly an hour between exits 48 and 53.
As of 8:55 p.m. Sunday, traffic is moving again in northbound lanes. The southbound lanes are still closed.
State police have not released how many cars were involved or if there were any other injuries.
