BOSTON — A bank robber considered to be armed and dangerous is being sought by the FBI.

The suspect robbed a bank at gunpoint in Cambridge, Mass., on Tuesday, according to the FBI, and threatened to harm tellers.

The robber was captured on video surveillance and a task force of Massachusetts law enforcement agencies is seeking the public’s help in finding the suspect.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a thin, white male standing 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches in height, with gray hair. The 50-year-old man was wearing a green military-style hat, dark colored jacket, green cargo pants and white shoes. He was also carrying a backpack.

The FBI is offering an undisclosed cash award for information leading to the suspect’s capture. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 617-742-5533.
