FREEPORT, Maine — Fashion, Fenway and L.L. Bean.

Members of Red Sox Nation can score this triple header when the Fenway Bean Boot rolls out this month.

To win these waterproof kicks, made from the rain-delay tarp used during the 2012 season, share your favorite Red Sox moment on the Freeport company’s Facebook page.

A few lucky and clever fans will walk away with a piece of the park on their feet.

The Maine outfitter, that started upcycling before it was trendy, celebrated its 100th year in 2012. Fenway also celebrated its 100th year as well, so the tarp has special meaning.

“This project brings together two of [L.L. Bean’s] favorite things: Bean Boots and baseball,” said Steve Fuller, chief marketing officer for L.L. Bean in a prepared statement. “As a season ticket holder, [L.L. Bean] loved the Red Sox, and he would be delighted to see the Fenway tarp put to use in a way that fans can enjoy.”

The iconic Bean Boot was introduced in 1912 and is still handcrafted in Maine. Only 100 Fenway Boots will be made at L.L. Bean’s manufacturing facility in Brunswick.

The contest runs through Oct. 20. Fifty winners will be selected at random and notified on Oct. 21. Additional ways to win the Fenway Boot will be announced on L.L. Bean’s twitter @LLBean.
