COREA – Lela Goldie Anderson, 82, died Oct. 13, 2013, at her home. She was born June 6, 1931, in Sullivan, a daughter of Bart Henry and Grace Mildred (Springer) West.
Lela worked for 52 years as a sardine packer at Stinson Canning Company and later for Bumble Bee. She was a member of the Corea Grange and Corea Baptist Church. Lela was married for 48 years to Herman R. Anderson Sr.
She is survived by a son, Herman R. “Randy” Anderson Jr. and wife, Pa, of Corea; daughter, Bonnie M. Naumann and husband, Joseph, of Gouldsboro; grandchildren, Aaron, Jason, and Ben Naumann and their wives; three great-grandchildren; twin sister, Lillian Snider; brother, Jimmy West, both of Sullivan; many nieces, and nephews; and one special niece, Kathy Gray of Blue Hill. She was predeceased by her husband; three brothers; and three sisters.
