FRENCHVILLE – Lawrence Vaillancourt, 77, died Oct. 19, 2013, at his residence unexpectedly. He was born Sept. 12, 1936, in Frenchville, the son of Antoine and Edith (Roy) Vaillancourt.
He is survived by two sons and their wives, Danny and Margie of Sanford, and Pete and Lisa of Fort Kent; three daughters and their spouses, Phyllis and Gerald Marquis of Wallagrass, Brenda and Dennis Shipp of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Tammy and Kenneth Hebert of Frenchville; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Bernadette Belanger in 1988; son, Philip in 1989; and great-grandson, Tanner Marquis in 2010.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at St. Luce Catholic Church, Frenchville, with the Rev. Kent Ouellette officiating. Burial will be at St. Luce Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.michaudfuneralhomes.com.
