SHIRLEY – Hugh S. Davis, 80, died Oct. 27, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 16, 1932, the son of Charles and Laura (Williamson) Davis.
He was a lifelong woodsman and avid fly fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Theresa (Aucoin) Davis of Shirley; a daughter, Elaine and husband, Bob; five sons, Danny and partner, Pam, Jim and wife, Judy, Joe and wife, Nancy, Jon and wife, Tina, and Matthew and wife, Marilyn; a brother, Keith; a sister, Colleen; a sister-in-law, Betty; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Norman and Geneva Beckwith, and Roger Richards. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Greenville Chapel of Crosby & Neal at the Masonic Building in Greenville. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, at the Greenville Chapel with Deacon Dan Watson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Holy Family Catholic Church, P.O.
