HODGDON, Maine — A local woman was found dead in her swimming pool Wednesday afternoon, according to a press release from Maine State Police.
State police Trooper Shawn Whalen went to the woman’s home after a medical call from Hodgdon around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Lisa Desrochers, 46, of Hodgdon was found unresponsive in her swimming pool by a family member. Houlton Ambulance went to the home and took Desrochers to Houlton Regional Hospital, where she was declared deceased.
An investigation is continuing, but no foul play is suspected, state police said. The cause and manner of death will be determined by the office of the medical examiner.
Whalen was assisted at the scene by Lt. John Cote and Sgt. Brian L. Harris.
