WARREN, Maine — Townspeople are invited to meet new Town Manager Elaine Clark during a reception next week.
The reception for Clark will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at the town office.
Clark began her new duties Monday. She succeeded interim Manager Glenn Aho who filled in after Grant Watmough retired in November 2012.
Refreshments will be served. Selectmen, who meet every other Wednesday, will hold a regular meeting after the reception at 7 p.m.
“I think this is an exciting time for Warren and the board is eager to begin work with Mrs. Clark,” said Selectmen Chairman Doug Pope. “This get-together will be a great opportunity for residents to begin to get to know her.”
