FORT KENT – Annabelle (Dube) Tardie, 81, died peacefully Nov. 12, 2013, at Madawaska. She was born in Quimby, the daughter of Josephat and Marieanne (Marin) Dube.
Annabelle was employed at Mercy Health Care as a C.R.M.A. Later she owned and operated her hair salon, Northern Image for more than 20 years. Annabelle always enjoyed cooking for her family. She was a great mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Philip and wife, Diana Tardie of Buckston; three daughters, Konnie and husband, Thomas Lagasse, of Townsend, Mass., Sandra Visser and her husband, Carl Pavarini, of Mendham, N.J., Myra and husband, Keith Theriault, of Fort Kent; five grandchildren, Nichole, Chad, Jeffrey, Kyle, Cameron; and four step-grandchildren, Dana, Michael, Kathryn and Tom; nine great-grandchildren, Brinna, Brandon, Connor, Katelynn, Danielle, Aubrey, Devon, Alanna and Owen; one sister, Carlene and husband, Thomas Zytkiewicz of New Britain, Conn.; one brother, Gilbert and wife, Cyndi Dube, of Boca Raton, Fla.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Kenneth Tardie in 1999; one grandson, Brent Tardie in 1999; father to her children, Rosaire Tardie in 2001; five brothers, Alberie, Paul, Harold, Armand and Leon Dube; one sister, Maxine Beaulieu. Friends may call 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday, Nov. 16, at Daigle Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Gardner officiating. In the spring of 2014, burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eagle Lake. Those who wish may donate in Annabelle’s memory to Hospice of Aroostook, 14 Access Highway, Caribou, ME 04736.
