BANGOR – Frank Palmer Blaisdell, 58, passed away Oct. 28, 2013, at his home in Bangor. He was born Dec. 3, 1954, in Newport, R.I., the fifth child of Louis and Anne (Palmer) Blaisdell.
Frank spent his early life in Hingham, Mass., before moving to Isle au Haut, Ellsworth, and Bangor. He was known as a witty and gentle person who went through life with a kind regard for everyone, fondness for animals and the outdoors, appreciation of music, and an abiding faith in the promise of happiness in the hereafter.
Frank is survived by his father, Louis Blaisdell of East Orland; sister, Teresa Blaisdell of Ellsworth; brother, John Blaisdell and partner, Paula Greatorex, of Isle au Haut, with his children, Joshua, Nathan, and Dylan; brother, Robert Blaisdell of San Francisco; niece, Amanda Comfort of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and nephew, Ryan Blaisdell of Cypress, Texas. He was predeceased by his mother, Anne P. Blaisdell; brother, Louis Blaisdell Jr. of Houston; and sister, Anne Blaisdell of Isle au Haut.
Memorial services will be held in the summer of 2014.
