HERMON – Maynard A. Blanchard, 66, husband of Suzanne M. (Marsh) Blanchard, died Nov. 22, 2013 at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 3, 1947 in Bangor, the son of Maynard and Marsha (Googins) Blanchard.
Maynard served in the U.S. Army and worked for many years as a truck driver. He was an avid golfer having played many rounds at Rocky Knoll Country Club, Orrington.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Suzanne of Hermon are three children, Shawn Blanchard and his wife, Tonya, Tammy Allred and Alanna Brown and her husband, Rick; 10 grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Heather, Christian, Terran, Jay Dylan, Mallory, Geneva, Sebra and Scott; two great-grandchildren, Harmony and Caden; three siblings, David Blanchard and his wife, Bonnie, Jane Hansen and her husband, Tom and Robin Jenkins and her husband, Tim; a favorite uncle, Ray Harper and his children, Kim and Tom Giles and Pete Harper; nieces, nephews and cousins.
