MACHIAS, Maine — Assault and theft head the list of indictments returned by the Washington County grand jury this month.
The indictments returned on Nov. 21 were against:
Stephen A. Treadway, 32, Calais, on one charge of assault and one charge of domestic violence assault. The charges stem from an incident Sept. 18 in Calais.
Timothy P. Merchant, 49, Harrington, domestic violence assault and criminal mischief.
Richard Quinn, 48, Perry, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking.
Amy J. Flood, 35, Baring, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking.
Leroy R. Turner, 34, Steuben, operating after revocation.
Stephen J. LaCoote, 34, Indian Township, criminal threatening, violation of conditions of release.
Harry L. Kidder, 43, Machias, operating without a license, operating after revocation.
