SACO, Maine — A teenager who had been missing since October was found safely in Portland on Monday.
Elaina Dorsey, whose age was not available, is in Portland Police Department custody, according to Saco Deputy Chief Jeffrey Holland.
Holland said Dorsey was found safe and unharmed.
Dorsey was reported missing by Sweetser Children’s Services, according to Holland.
Holland said the Department of Health and Human Services has custody of Dorsey despite the fact she has been a resident at Sweetser in Saco, Holland said. DHHS officials plan to meet with Portland police.
Dorsey was reported missing on Oct. 9, Holland said.
