BREWER – Marie Anne (Winslow) Kinsella died Nov. 24, 2013, after a brief stay in the hospital. She was born March 24, 1929, in Melrose, Mass., the daughter of Leon and Mary (Faye) Winslow.
Marie was a resident at the Ellen Leach Memorial Home for 19 years. Marie volunteered at the Eddington School under the Foster Grandparent Program for many years where she was known as Grammie Marie. She was a retired secretary and worked in government for the Post Office and DHHS. While Marie was in the hospital, she was excited to be given the Pope’s blessing.
Marie is survived by her six children, Kathleen Fuenffinger of Sturgis, S.D., Laura Pawlendzio and her husband, Stanley, of Newport, N.H., Thomas Kinsella and his wife, Rose, of Etna; Stephen Kinsella and his wife, Pam, of Kingsland, Texas, and Rita Zimmer and her husband, Rory, of West Palm, Fla.; grandchildren, Andrew Fuenffinger, Lindsey Kinsella, Stashue Pawlendzio, Cheri (Pawlendzio) Hooper, Brian Pawlendzio, Deanna (Kinsella) Grabelle, Heather Kinsella, Michelle Kinsella, Stephen Kinsella, Thomas Kohlmeyer, Joe Johnson, Nicholas Fehrman, Cassandra Fehrman, Lauren Zimmer and Shayna Zimmer; four stepgrandchildren she took as her own, Kyle Veinote, Erica (Veinote) Gower, Sasha Sankowsky, and Nick Sankowsky;12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Murphy, Marguerite Fashion, and Helen Cadigan; a brother, Robert Winslow and wife, Shirley; and sisters-in-law, Peggy Theresa, and Mabel Winslow. Marie was predeceased by her parents, a daughter, Mary (Kinsella) Goble; her siblings, Paul, Leonard, and Mark Winslow; and brothers-in-law, Charles Murphy and Jack Cadigan.
