ELLSWORTH, Maine — A Bucksport man was listed in critical condition Wednesday, two days after he totalled his car in Penobscot.

Jamie Robichaud, 36, was driving down Bayview Drive when he lost control of his car and hit a telephone pole on Monday, Nov. 25, according to a press release from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department. Speed, alcohol and the presence of a deer were listed as factors in the crash.

Robichaud was transferred via Life Flight to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, where he is still being treated.

Charges are pending, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department.
