FORT KENT – Mildred (Boutot) Cyr, 80, died peacefully Nov. 28, 2013, at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born Nov. 28, 1933, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Joseph and Yvonne (Dubois) Boutot.
Mildred enjoyed crocheting, knitting and cooking.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Fernand Cyr of Madawaska; son, Bruce and his wife, Inger Cyr; one special granddaughter, Sadie Cyr, all of Gorham; one brother, Clarence and wife, Mary Boutot, of Connecticut; two sisters, Yvette and husband, Joe Madore, and Vernette and husband, Clinton Rioux, all of Fort Kent; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Lester Boutot.
Friends may call 8 a.m. until time of service Monday, Dec. 2, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent.
