BANGOR – Mary M. McDougal, 69, died unexpectedly Nov. 30, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 12, 1944, in Belfast, the daughter of George and Madeline (McNally) Paul.
Mary was proud of her Native American heritage. She enjoyed playing Bingo, gardening, spending time with her family, and taking care of her beloved cats. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who had a huge heart.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her daughter, Angel (McDougal) Cote; Chet Porter and George Paul Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Timothy McDougal; sons, Randy, Timothy, and Greg McDougal; daughter, Shelly McDougal; grandchildren, Alicia, Levi, Dillan, Kyle, Travis, Garrett, Moriah, Hunter, and Noah; great-grandchildren, Parker, Ashton, Chase, Gracelyn, and Madeline; sisters, Gladys, Lois, Frances, and Myrtle; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer. Relatives and friends may call noon until time of service. Interment will be private for the family. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
