FRANKLIN – Sally J. Lounder, 69, died Wednesday, Dec. 4th, 2013 at MCMH in Ellsworth after a brief illness. Sally was born Nov. 5th, 1944, daughter of Fred and Viola Martin. Sally is best remembered by her love of family, especially her 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandkids. Sally is survived by 5 children, Joseph Sidelinger of Waltham Ma., Curtis Sidelinger of Ellsworth, Dawn Graham of Orrington, Marion Kidder of Ellsworth, and Fred Ward of Bangor Maine. Step children, Sherry Higgins of Ocala, Fl., and Russell Sargent of Mariaville. She is also survived by John Lounder, life long companion and best friend. Other survivors are her sisters, Carol Dow of South West Harbor, Gladys Welch of Sorrento, brother, Wayne Martin of Lakeworth Fl and Alan Gordon of Bucksport. She is predeceased by her brother, Walter Martin, sister Eleanor Ryder, and grandchildren, Mark, Alex, and Bobby. She will be especially missed by her dog, Trampy that she rescued from a busy highway in Florida. A celebration of life will be held in the spring at Thompson Island on Mt. Desert Island.
