MOUNT JOY, Pa. – Clara Ackerman Mattson, 88, formerly of Presque Isle, passed away peacefully at Hospice and Community Care facility of Mount Joy, Pa., on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013.
She was the wife of the late Stanley V. Mattson who died in 1996. Clara is survived by her daughter, Sharon married to Keith Berkheiser of Mount Joy, Pa.; her son, Stephen Mattson married to Paula Jo of Concord, N.H.; six grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
After the death of her husband in 1996, Clara moved to central Pennsylvania to reside near her daughter. Prior to that time she lived in Winslow and Auburn.
