HERMON and BANGOR – Roberta J. Gee, 74, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at a Brewer health care center, with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 6, 1939, in Brewer, the daughter of Robert Wilson and Hazel (Porter) Wilson Hanson.
She is survived by her daughter, Candy and her husband, Larry Charloux, of Hermon; two sons, Allyn Gee and his wife, Jenny, of Gray, Kevin Gee of Falmouth. Roberta also leaves behind four wonderful grandchildren who she adored, Jolene Roberts, Valaree Charloux, Alec and Tyler Gee. She is also survived by a brother, Kerry Wilson and his wife, Karol, of Bangor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Darrell Gee.
Roberta was an avid bingo player, and talented crafter who enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was a loyal Red Sox and Jeff Gordon fan. Roberta often enjoyed a competitive game of cribbage with her best friend, Carol Guerrette.
There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will take place at a later date at Snows Corner Cemetery, Hermon. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Susan G.
