CARIBOU – Nelson J. Chaloult, 84, died Dec. 5, 2013, at his North Caribou residence. He was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Caribou, the son of the late Adelard and Eugenie (Daigle) Chaloult.
He was a graduate of Caribou High School and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Chaloult was a self-employed farmer and potato grower on the family farm in North Caribou for many years.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Richard Levesque of Wolfeboro, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Chaloult was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Msgr. Gilman Chaloult.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Emile Dube, officiating.
