EXETER – Eleanor T. Weeks, 79, died Dec. 9, 2013, at her residence. She was born Aug. 12, 1934, in Exeter, a daughter of Roscoe and Imogene (Larrabee) Tozier.
She graduated from Corinna Union Academy, class of 1952. Eleanor was employed at the shoe shop in Corinth and especially enjoyed working on the harvester for area potato farmers in Exeter. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Eleanor always kept a large garden and loved canning. She will be remembered for generously sharing her many canned goods with relatives and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Laurice Weeks of Exeter; two children, Kathy Moore of North Hartland, Vt., and Robert Weeks of Exeter; a sister, Esther Goulette of Garland; two grandchildren, Trevor Moore and Jessica and husband, Lucas Bernatchy; two great-grandchildren, Haleigh Moore and Mason Bernatchy; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Orrison Tozier; and three sisters, Ersal Tozier, Barbara Stevens, and Beryl Young.
Visitation will be private for the family at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport. Spring graveside services will be held at the Crowell Cemetery, Exeter.
