ORONO – Anna M. “Mun” Beaulieu, 99, of Orono, died peacefully Dec. 5, 2013, at Orono Commons. She was born July 22, 1914, the daughter of Edward and Alice (Donovan) Fortier.
Anna married Frank A. Beaulieu Nov. 11, 1941. They had one daughter, Wendy Beaulieu Gavett and a grandson, Aaron Gavett. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orono where she was a very active and dedicated parishioner for many years.
Anna was predeceased by her husband, Frank; daughter, Wendy; two sisters, Louise Scott and Alice Kerr; a brother, Leighton Fortier; and an infant brother, Donald Fortier. Surviving are her grandson, Aaron Gavett; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Orono, in the spring of 2014. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville. www.veilleuxfunerslhome.com.
