EAST MILLINOCKET – Leonce T. Michaud, 95, passed away at a Millinocket hospital Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013. Leonce was born Sept. 12, 1918, in St. Francóis, N.B., the son of Thomas and Philomen (Levasseur) Michaud.
Leonce was a very religious person with a very strong faith. He was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in East Millinocket where he rarely missed a Mass and quite often attended prayer meetings. He was a quiet sort of guy who would help anyone. He pushed his wife around in a wheelchair for six years and never ever uttered a complaint. Leonce was a carpenter by trade, but also worked for a while at the transfer station in East Millinocket.
Leonce is survived by nephews, Regan, Serge, Luc, and Rock Nadeau; nieces, Jhislaine, Rella, Francine, Jhislain Nadeau, Yolande and Dorothy Pelletier; and good friend, Bob Duval. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Aurora in 2008; and sisters, Eliza, Electa, Exelda, and Helene.
