SILVER RIDGE – Joyce E. O’Hara, 80, died Dec. 18, 2013, at her home. She was born March 13, 1933, in Silver Ridge, the daughter of Fred and Marjorie (Hayes) Humphrey.
She was a member of the Molunkus Valley Chapter OES No. 95 and Monarda Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, James and his wife, Julie O’Hara; a daughter, Janet and her husband, Brent Day, all of Silver Ridge; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Rowena Qualey of Benedicta and Deanna and her husband, Roger Bouchard, of Silver Ridge; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also special friends, Gerald Cummings and Gilman Douston. She was predeceased by her husband, Ivan Jr.; and two sons, Gary and John.
Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Monday, at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, with funeral services being held at 11 a.m. with her son, the Rev. James O’Hara officiating.
